In line with the global security debate for the NATO Strategic Concept which was adopted at the Alliance Lisbon Summit, the Euro-Atlantic Council of Macedonia in the past year has taken several activities in order to give contribution to this process.

Therefore, the EACM will implement the project “Post-Lisbon: The New NATO for the New Era – Strategic Concept 2010”. Within the project the EACM will organize a simulation for the students of the universities in the Republic of Macedonia.

The event is a youth summit simulating an Alliance Summit which will bring the adoption of the Strategic Concept for the future goals and missions of the alliance. The event is of highly educative characters regarding the fact that it enables the students to closely introduce themselves to the issues of NATO, security and the international politics.

Participants at the simulation need to be students in third or fourth year of studies interested in the issues of security, international relations and NATO. The Simulation is an interactive event and therefore the students need to be fully prepared for the issues of NATO, security as well as the national issues of the countries members of NATO.

Interested candidates need to apply to the EACM latest by 30.11.2010 until 13.00 hrs at This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it and submit CV and a motivation letter for the event.
