Vilma Trajkovska was born in Kolesino, Strumica. Secondary education finished in the Secondary School "Georgi Dimitrov" in Skopje. She is the former First Lady of the Republic of Macedonia and wife of the late Macedonian president Boris Trajkovski. She worked in the Directorate for publishing works in the Central Bank, where she served as director. She is founder of VITRA, nonprofit and non-governmental foundation established in Macedonia in 2001 year. In order to affirm the woman and her role in the comprehensive development of society Trajkovska actively participate in numerous forums and conferences in the country and abroad. Was the patron of the International Conference "Women in the 21st Century" held in 2002 in Ohrid. Trajkovska founded the International Foundation "Boris Trajkovski". Mother of two children, Sara and Stefan.
