Course on Security and International Relations Print

Upon the proposal of the Atlantic Committee of Italy, in March 2011, EACM together with ATA Italy organized a course on security and international relations that took place at the FON University in Skopje.
The course was implemented by the ATA Italy with eminent experts, and the target groups were the officers of the armed forces, as well as the employees in the Ministry of Defence, interior affairs and foreign affairs of the Republic of Macedonia. The topics covered EU, UN, NATO, OSCE and their policies, the NATO New Strategic Concept, the security policy and the relations in the countries of the Middle East and the Mediterranean, G-8, G-20 countries, the terrorism and the human rights.

The expert support was provided by the ATA Italy whereas the host organization – EACM, provided the participants at the course.

The project is already realized with some of the countries in the region, and starting from 2011, the Atlantic Committee brought the same in the Republic of Macedonia.
