Elenovski in working visit of Washington DC, 12 – 15 March 2012 PDF Print E-mail

Lazar Elenovski, Vice President of the Atlantic Treaty Association – ATA will have a working visit in Washington DC in the period from 12 to 15 March 2012.

During the working visit, Elenovski will participate on the ATA Bureau Meeting which is the highest working body of the ATA. ATA Bureau Meeting is held once in a year and discusses the long term strategy of the Euro – Atlantic movement and its work on global level with the 42 member states, from North America to Central Asia.

As part of the visit there will be meetings with representatives from the White House, the Pentagon, the State Department and experts who build the strategy for the upcoming NATO Summit in Chicago including “smart defence” concept.

Also, on the program there are meetings with the most influential American think – tanks: RAND Corporation, Henri Kissinger Foundation, German Marshall Fond, Institute for national strategic studies at National Defence University (NDU), Centre for American progress and Atlantic Council of the United States (ACUS).
