Elenovski on an International Symposium in Athens Print

Lazar Elenovski, the president of the Euro-Atlantic Council of Macedonia in the period 2nd – 3rd December 2011 took participation on the Annual International Symposium that was held for the 20th time in Athens.



Elenovski was invited to speak on the second panel of the symposium on the topic "South-Eastern Europe and the Mediterranean: Threats and Opportunities in a Transforming Region" and the same covered the events concerning the "Arab Spring". ( Addressing remarks “Atlantic and Arab world – getting together” )

The International Symposium was organized by the Greek Association for Atlantic and European Cooperation and its objective was to emphasize the growing challenges facing the world in the area of security and economy, as well as their impact on the euro-atlantic world. The discussion was very productive and it covered the security challenges with which the world faces in an era of economic crisis. In that line, it also covered the UN 1325 resolution.

At the Symposium, other high representatives of the Greek politics had its participation, as well as ambassadors, official representatives from the region and international experts.
