The Advanced Research Workshop: ‘’Sustained Emergency Relief- Regionally Developed Capacities’’, organized by the Euro- Atlantic Council of Macedonia and the Atlantic Council of Albania, has finished its first day of panel- sessions successfully, gathering more than 40 participants, with speakers from Macedonia, Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, Slovenia, Serbia, Bulgaria and Kosovo.

The workshop, which had its official opening ceremony this morning, continued with 3 sessions on the topic of Capabilities for Emergency Relief- national challenges and perspectives.

The workshop is gathering officials and experts from the civil and military sector, was attended by the media as well.

Tomorrow the sessions are continuing on the topic of Development of Regional Capacities for Emergency Relief in the spirit of Smart Defence initiative and the final conclusions from the workshop will be made.
