On 1st December 2014, the Atlantic Treaty Association (ATA) held its 60th General Assembly.

Traditionally ATA hosts a General Assembly that brings together the entire ATA network to discuss the accomplishments of the previous year, the ambitions for the next one, and the emerging security challenges it must prepare for in order to safeguard the peace and security enjoyed by the transatlantic alliance.

Furthermore, on the same date the Youth Atlantic Treaty Association (YATA) held its 19th annual assembly, where the youth had platform to discuss future politics and had workshop to develop their skills furthermore.
Both assemblies this year held its elections and picked its new respective leaderships.  The new members of the ATA leadership are:
•    Prof. Dr. Fabrizio Luccioli – President
•    Mr. Jason Wiseman – Secretary General
•    Mrs. Kate Hansen Bundt – Vice President
•    Mr. Jorge Girão – Vice President
•    Mr. Arnold Kammel – Vice President

Also, YATA pick its new leadership. The new members of the YATA board are:
•    Mr. Francisco Costa – President
•    Mr. Blaz Grilj – Secretary General
•    Mr. Robert Ivitsa Shushich – Vice President
•    Mrs. Eda Güney – Vice President
•    Mr. Alexander Zibzibadze – Vice President
•    Mr. Eirik Sætre  - Vice President

On this General Assembly, Euro – Atlantic Council of Macedonia has started the initiative for creating business associations in every national ATA chapter which will help to furthermore connect with the society and also help in some of the critical financial situations.
The president of EACM, Mr. Ismet Ramadani presented the initiative and the experience that EACM has with the creation of the Business Club of EACM and how much benefit we had from it. From increased and strengthened connection with the society, increased capacity of the organization to potential financial stabilization. The initiative was strongly supported by the NATO Council of Canada and it will be seriously considered by the national ATA chapters.

On the end of the 60th General Assembly, the reception for the ATA members was hosted by Ambassador Lazar Elenovski in the Macedonian Embassy in Brussels.
The delegation that represented Euro – Atlantic Council of Macedonia on this General Assembly was:
•    Mr. Ismet Ramadani – President of EACM
•    Mr. Ilija Djugumanov – President of YATA Macedonia
•    Mr. Jordan Tasev – Secretary General of YATA Macedonia
