From the period of 11th to 13th of May 2017, delegation from ATA/YATA Macedonia was participating at the seventh To Be Secure Forum held in Budva, Montenegro, under the title “The Challenges of Changing Politics and Shifting Alliances“. It gathered more than 300 high officials, distinguished scholars, experts from the field of security policy, journalists and young people from around the world. The 2BS Forum is an annual high-level conference dealing with global, transatlantic issues, as well as the issues in South-Eastern Europe. Organizer of 2BS Forum is the Atlantic Council of Montenegro under the auspices of the Government of Montenegro, while traditional partners of the Forum are NATO and the U.S. Embassy in Podgorica. This year’s forum gathered numerous prominent guests and speakers such as ministers and ambassadors from the region, among others, H.E. Mr. Igor Crndak, Minister of Foreign Affairs, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Mr. Dragan Sormaz, Head of Delegation, National Assembly of Serbia to the Parliamentary Assembly of NATO, Mr. Hoyt B. YEE, Deputy Assistant Secretary of State for European and Eurasian Affairs, H.E. Mr. Duško Markovic, Prime Minister, Government of Montenegro, H.E. Prof. Dr. Srđan Darmanovic, Minister of Foreign Affairs, Montenegro, Mr. James Appathurai, Deputy Assistant Secretary General for Political Affairs and Security Policy, NATO, H.E. Mr. Predrag Boskovic, Minister of Defence, Montenegro, H.E. Mrs. Kolinda Grabar - Kitarovic, President, Croatia, H.E. Mr. Filip Vujanovic, President, Montenegro, H.E. Mr. Borut Pahor, President, Slovenia, and many others. |
