Starting in March, and officially promoting this project since the NATO Month – April 2016, the Euro – Atlantic Council of Macedonia continued it’s active realization of the project:

“The Impact of the Euro – Atlantic Integrative Processes on the Inter – ethnic Relations”

This project’s aim is researching and analyzing the public standpoints and opinions about the indirect and direct effects of the Euro – Atlantic integrations, on the relations between the ethnic communities in the country.

The project is composed from several phases: start – up Conference, research (primary qualitative research, telephone and on-line surveys, and researching the media narratives in this area), organizing four public forums/workshops, publishing brochures with recommendations, and closing Conference.

The four forums/workshops which will be organized until October 2016 in four cities/regions in the Republic of Macedonia, have a purpose to promote the research results, and to stimulate a debate on this important issues.
Because of these reasons, the Euro – Atlantic Council of Macedonia (ATA Macedonia), on 6th of October, 2016, organized the first public forum/workshop at the premises of the Tetovo State University in Tetovo. On this event, there were more than 80 students and professors and journalists from the region attending.

The event started with the speech of the Deputy Minister for Defense, Dr. Bekim Maksuri, and then the next speakers were the President of the Euro – Atlantic Council of Macedonia, Mr. Ismet Ramadani, Mr. Trifun Kostovski – Executive of the Business Club of ATA Macedonia, Prof. Ylber Sela from Tetovo State University, and Ms. Marija Jankuloska, YATA Macedonia, and the event was moderated by Mr. Ilija Djugumanov, Project Director and Prof. Yusuf Zejneli.
