 "NATO Week - Secure the Future" is a project that represents a concept  and a summary of several activities and events that have one common goal  – to mark 4th April, the day that celebrates the Washington Treaty. This year the NATO Week will be marked from 28 March to 5 April 2013 with a number of different activities in which participation will have young people, experts, politicians, businessmen and ambassadors in the Republic of Macedonia. The project will be implemented through different activities: 28 March 2013 – Thursday NATO Student Simulation and promotion of Social Media Network for Security This unique event, the NATO Student Simulation will be organized for the fourth time in the Republic of Macedonia and this time will be the platform for the promotion of the First Social Media Network for Security in the Republic of Macedonia. 02 April 2013 - Tuesday Donation activity and one day lecture and workshop on “NATO and International Humanitarian Law” In cooperation with the Macedonian Red Cross, the EACM and the YATA will implement these activities which will show the humanity of the Macedonian students and will offer basic training for the students in the field of IHL. 03 April 2013 – Wednesday One day conference “The influence of euro – atlantic integrations over the economy of Republic of Macedonia” For the first time in cooperation with the Economic Chamber of Macedonia and the Faculty for Security – Skopje we will explore this topic via conference with comprehensive approach. 04 April 2013 – Thursday Press conference by EACM, MoD and Turkish Embassy in Macedonia (NATO Contact Point Embassy) The press conference will be held on the day of the signing of the Washington Treaty and will sent strong signal for the devotion to the euro – atlantic integrations of the country. 05 April 2013 – Friday One day lecture and workshop on “NATO and Partners: shaping the future relationship” This workshop will be with academic accent. It is intended for the students and will give the basic knowledge for the future activities of NATO. The objective of the project "NATO Days – Secure the Future" presents the need of introducing the young people with what NATO is, what are the goals and the role of NATO in creating the world security, but also, NATO's significance for the security in the Republic of Macedonia.
